 WHAT'S IN A NAME?

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet."

From 'Romeo and Juliet' by William Shakespeare (1564-1616)

The name of this book was inspired by the awful animal clichés expounded by me on the witness stand during the Trial of the BALPA Affair.

Having even had one of those clichés, ‘the elephant in the room’, picked up by His Honour, Judge Richard Seymour QC, in his Judgement on the case, I thought I’d continue the animal theme in the book title.

And then I got to thinking about the people involved in the BALPA Affair and decided that some other creature themed sayings were perhaps also quite apt as well.   More
